Living at Peace with God, Others, and Ourselves

There is good news and there is bad news. The good news is that God took our messy, disordered, sin-scarred lives and reconciled us to himself. We are a new creation! The bad news is that we still struggle to live into that new identity. We may be a new creation, but when our actions don’t align with our values, our relationships with God and others are out of whack, we feel the friction! How can we experience the peace God promises, when half the time it feels like we are at war with ourselves?
