This campaign is about more than a number. Itβs about the people on the other side of the yes. The corporate worker listening on their lunch break, wondering if they are the only one struggling to trust. The college student scrolling Instagram, unsure if God sees them. The ministry leader who needs encouragement to keep going. The friend who doesnβt even know what they believes anymore but keeps showing up for the conversation.
Water has so many purposes and meanings! We read about two specific stories of Jesus using the cleansing power of water in Luke 7:36 and John 13. Discover the connection between these two passages and how water can affect every area of our lives. Take time to dive deep into the message Jesus teaches his followers and the example of servitude.
Louise Stanton shares her heart and wisdom on the blog this week with a message about being peacekeepers and what it means to be a good neighbor. Too often, we move on from an opportunity to show Godβs love because we donβt seem to have time. Jesus had a very full life, but it was never rushed.
Grace Rubin joins us on the blog again this week with a profound Hebrew word, βShema.β This word means to listen and hear, but through her research, Grace found that itβs even more than that. Hearing βShemaβ also means actually working to comprehend and to live out what you are called to do!
Everyday we do hard things whether it was making your bed, exercising after work, or comforting a friend in grief. The important thing that Dianne DeKoning reminds us of is to lead with compassion during all of those hard times. Life is hard, there is no denying that. But life with Jesus is worth it because He rides through all of it with us. Everyoneβs hard is different!
Regardless of career β study, training, observation, and practice are required in one way or another to do a job well. But the job of being a mom? No diploma, no certificate, no internship is expected for this important role. The perfect instruction manual for this life-long role as mother is Godβs word which tells us what is real, what is true, and what is valuable. And we can go to our holy and perfect Heavenly Father in prayer to seek his will and guidance.
By the grace of God, Boldly Seeking is turning five years old! Read about some interesting facts about the history of birthdays. What does the Bible mention about birthdays? Whether you are celebrating your 1st, 10th, 50th, or 100th birthday this year, we want to join you in the party!
The Called Conference hosted at Bethel University was an amazing, inspiring, and authentic experience. Read along as Grace Rubin shares the highlights and wisdom that touched her life over the weekend in March 2025. Faith and fear are often together in the same situation, but knowing that our faith grows stronger the more we step out in fear can bring us boldness in our walk with God
If you are looking for an opportunity to join us at Called Conference next year, please reach out for tickets and connecting with us as a community!
Read about three specific women in the Bible who have amazing stories of faith! Whatever your situation may be, we are each called according to the gifts we have been given. The next step is reaching out of our comfort zone in faith and obeying that calling.
In John 3:3 Jesus is preaching about being born again: βUnless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.β Then, because that phrase sounded strange to him, Nicodemus asks Jesus βhow can that be?β How can someone enter their motherβs womb a second time? Obviously, Nicodemus is thinking physically (ouch!) and Jesus is of course speaking spiritually. But WHY would Jesus use this analogy when talking about the kingdom of God?
Comparison sneaks into our lives and we get trapped into feeling behind everyone else. Comparison shifts our focus from what God is doing in our lives and lock our gaze onto what He is doing in someone elseβs life. What does the Bible say about joy, comparison, envy, jealousy, contentment? Learn to lean into the joy and blessings that are in motion right now.
