In our darkest hours and happiest times, we give it up to Him and He in turn showers back love and support to us. When we can no longer walk, He carries us. He quells our fears. He forgives, is so patient and so kind. His love never fails and it never will.

When we begin to put on this image of “religion” we begin to initially lose the true image of religion, and that is a true and intimate relationship with Jesus. We lose our relationship with Jesus to a superficial image we “think” we are living.

He showed me that in the midst of all of this, He’s always been there. Even if I can hide my sufferings from those around me, I can’t hide it from God. God knows! He knew I would distance myself when I fell into depression, but He also knew I would come back. He knew I needed Him and He was there in the midst of it all.

The Lord promises if we lay our yoke upon him that OUR burden will be light. SO, why aren’t we showing him the way to our clutter?

Finding and accepting God’s plan isn’t easy and His answers aren’t always what you want them to be.

Just because we are in this waiting season doesn’t mean God isn’t working because he is ALWAYS working in the waiting.

It is not the other person that needs to change first, we have to take the first step in changing our perspective and our hearts to see like Jesus.

God made you perfectly in His image and likeness. Though He made us perfect in His image, He doesn’t expect perfection from us.

When we say yes to the Lord, we aren’t saying yes to being comfortable, we are saying yes to the uncomfortable.

There is NOTHING that God hasn’t already gone through before you experience it in your own life.

What does it mean to boldly seek the Lord? What does it mean to boldly ask those God size prayers? Finally, what does it mean to boldly love God, others, and ourselves?
